Portraits
Portraiture. For when a simple headshot is not enough.
So why would an actor need something more than just a headshot? It's a great question. The world of actors headshots has changed dramatically since I left drama school back in 2003. Those were the days of simple black and white photos that just showed as neutral canvas as possible. Now most actors are encouraged to show something of who they are through their headshots. Also, as promoting yourself through social media becomes more and more important, having a range of different photos to draw from when you're announcing different projects or showcasing your skillset to the world has become invaluable. I also work with a wide range of creatives and for them there is even more freedom as to what style of images they use to help promote their work. Directors, composers, puppeteers, writers, choreographers, they all need professional headshots and portraits and I'm 100% here for it.
