Dancers

Some people have the power to move. To soar, swoop, cavort, leap, flutter and pinball their way across the stage in a swirling tempest of self expression.

And you guessed it.

I'm here for it.

Thats right. Dancers need photos too and I'm willing to step up and take them. It may be as simple as needing a classic headshot or maybe its something with more of a nod to the baroque. Perhaps it's a snapshot of some physical improvisation, a sudden blur of athletic prowess or it could just be the stillness of a held pose demonstrating the strength within. The beauty of it is it's up to you. We can create a range of photos that help you represent you and your craft.

Book in for a dance photography session and we can shoot headshots, body shots and movement work in one fell swoop. We will work in colour and black and white with a focus on creating some exciting portraits that capture your ability to move.

Let's shoot.

Headshots and portraits for all.

How does a dance photography session work?

Well, this is akin to how long is a piece of string BUT there are some constants so let's start with them.

First off we will probably drink some mint tea. It's almost inevitable.

The session will be tailored to what you need first and foremost. So if a selection of classical looking headshots is the most important thing to you we shall lean into that. If you're more interested in capturing your moving form in a more abstract, contemporary manner then we will make that our focus. Every session is unique so we can spend the most time on whatever works best for you.

Time is on our side during the session, allowing us to cover a range of shots—from headshots to full-body captures and everything in between. Whether you prefer the vibrancy of color or the timeless allure of black and white, we'll adapt to the mood and setting.

I'll send you all the photos from the session so you can have a good browse through them and decide which images you want edited.

Simple as that.

There will of course be music.

Always
